Needle pouch - Tutorial
I found very difficult to manage my needles and I was struggling each time to search for the required needle. Finally I thought to make a pouch to organize this needles. I would like to share the making of this pouch as many of us face this problem.
For this purpose the major materials I have used are felt cloth, sponze and Velcro.
Step : 1
The Felt cloth to be stiched with the sponze in all three sides.
Step : 2
The fourth side should be stiched by folding ends.
Step : 3
Step : 3
Turn right side of the cloth and stich as shown in the picture.
Step : 4
Attach Velcro in one end and stich a strip of cloth on the other side.
Step : 5
Attach the other piece of velcro to the strip.
The pouch looks this way
In order to decorate add a show button to the strip.
To keep the needle threader stich a loop in one end of the pouch.
The pouch can be used as follows.

TATTING
This is my first experience with tatting work. This saree matrial is creap silk. I used to make this motifs during my pastime and on my journey. Now the age of the above work is 10 years : )
There are nearly 54 motifs.
I had very good experience with this saree.........
Once I was having a day out with my family. On the way we found that there was some shooting going on. So we stopped to have alook at it. Where suddenly the assistant director came and asked me to walk among the group as my saree was too good (Ofcourse for my saree only :) :) ) but it was ultimately refused by me. Thenafter the saree was named as cinema saree by my family. hee hee hee

RIBBON EMBROIDERY
The ribbon embroidery is done on my daughter’s salwar top. I have used sattin ribbon. For the neck design I have tried interlaced band with cone thread. I got the design from Lakshmi ---- Thank You Lakshmi : ) .
Actually I wanted to do this work with silk ribbon but I could not find the same in my place. Any one knows where is it available in Bangalore?
