 It is a different experience,I enjoyed while doing this.

Nima's Foundation Piecing QAL

Nima explained in a detailed manner and this is the first time I used piecing technique,used for table top and I satisfied about this piece

Sudha Sekar's Cheveron Tote QAL

Sudha shared this chevron tote with us, it is a big tote. This bag has become very useful for shopping!!!!

After learning this tote, I got interested and tried few more pouches...

This is actually a reversible pouch

It was a great experience in quilting. I didnt except that within this short time I would be doing this..Of course this kept me away from Embroidery , Tailoring, etc...... EVEN BLOGGING :-)

After joining Desi Quilt group,I had a chance to attend a Buda Workshop in Bangalore.The Theme of the workshop was handmade quilt.It was a 3 days workshop.Savitha Uday and Mona seth were Organisers.Nirmalakka was the tutor who explained us with smiling face.My finished Handmade quilt piece,

In Desi Quilters group,there are two Bee groups,Queen Bee and Sunny Bee.Iam in the Sunny Bee group.In this each bee has to propose one block with her instructions.The other members of the group have to send those blocks to that Bee.I have sent the following blocks:

Quilted Card Holder

This is a small quilted piece I praticed with left over pieces.

Then I started to practice free motion quilting.After that I was wondering how to use this ,got the idea from here.I used old calendar back and stitched this quilt piece on
